Hotel Palacio Azcarate in Ezcaray, La Rioja, grounds include gardens which conserve the traditional image of the area by retaining the flora native to the area.

In an annex to the main building there is an ancient cedar tree whose remarkable features are its size, approximately 28 metres high, and its sculptural beauty.

The other garden, found in the area of a second annex where the cafeteria and the suite are located, covers a beautiful area where a characteristic species, whose popular name is “The lovers tree“, has been conserved.

Much of the original metalwork has also been preserved on windows and doors, along with two impressive gates that allow access to the garden.
